He is very athletic and has a lot of talent but very far from a NBA star. He reminds me of the 2005 Iguodala who could not shoot a lick but was a slasher and a dunker and had great leaping ability.

Any power forward who has a inside game and a outside game which I believe is important for any NBA player. Elton Brand for example can shoot and has a low post game which makes him a threat on the offensive end. Seems like Blake Griffin is content with just being a "human highlight film" instead of expanding his game to help his team win more games.

Those two dunks on gasol last night means nothing because the Lakers still won the game.

Clippers have a long way to go before they can really be elite...Griffin does nothing outside of 8-9 ft...he doesn't have a short jumper and no faceup game really...he just waits for the ball given to him inside 6-7ft for the jump overpowering dunk...Jordan probably has never scored outside the paint...another alley oop dunker with nothing else who is overpaid...he is just horrible...i bet an old 38yr old Camby will do a better job on Bynum than Jordan did last night, just atrocious.

Scola has to be one of the best PFs. He can not only shoot/make the 17-19ft jumper consistently, but he can also post up inside with a variety of moves. His defense has even improved alot this year. Just an awesome player.

how is blake "far" from an NBA star.. he IS a star right now.. one of the most recognizable/liked players in the NBA.. what exactly constitutes a star for you.. he's a star, arguing otherwise is retarded. he's on ESPN's top 10 almost every game.. he's a second year player, he's in the all star game, in the dunk contest.. lol what else does he have to do

LMAO WOW @ saying he'd take that unproductive bum elton brand over blake..

Blake's stats: 20 points a game, 11 rebounds, 3 assists on 53% shooting
versus
Brand's stats: 11 points a game, 7 rebounds, 1 assist on 49% shooting

all while playing less minutes. yea elton brand is so much better. clippers should trade for him and include chris paul, cash and some future draft picks for that ALL STAR lol

In case it went unnoticed the OKC lead over San Antonio is now down to one after the Spurs thrilling victory over the Celtics Wednesday night in Boston. Not to say that the one seed is the most desirable spot to be in but it wouldn't hurt either. Home court advantage in tough series' is never a bad thing. Especially in game sevens should they occur. The Spurs have won it all from the three top seeding spots. So one, two or three in any case I'll be happy.

Griffin versus Brand? Does anybody care about this meaningless comparison? The only thing I know is that neither of their respective teams are going anywhere in the playoffs.

just out of curiosity, was shaq a "star" in the league?

if so tell me when exactly he learned an outside shot? when was he hitting bank shots, 17'ers, heck free throws for that mater? or as his career built around him over powering people and dunking on their heads?
