Magic roster if they do the Howard/Q-Rich for Noah/Brewer/Gibson/1st rnd draft pick trade:
PG: Nelson, Duhon, Hughes
SG: Richardson, Redick, Wafer
SF: Turkoglu, Brewer, Clark
PF: Anderson, Gibson, Harper
C: Noah, Davis, Orton
How did you take from his comment, that he was referring specifically to the Magic?

Uh, I don't think he said that at all

But yeah, that team looks kinda scrubby to me

I heard Dwight Howard is going to the Nets after the all-star game.

Dwight Howard, Quentin Richarsdon, Chris Duhon and DeAndre Liggins
for
Brook Lopez, Mehmet Okur, Jordan Farmar, Anthony Morrow and Nets 1st Round Draft Pick.

Nets:
PG: Deron Williams, Chris Duhon, Sundiata Gaines
SG: Marshon Brooks, DeShawn Stevenson, DeAndre Liggins
SF: Damion James, Quentin Richardson, Shawne Williams, Larry Owens
PF: Kris Humphries, Shelden Williams Jordan Wiliams
C: Dwight Howard, Johan Petro

Magic:
PG: Jameer Nelson, Jordan Farmar, Larry Hughes
SG: Jason Richardson, J.J.Redick, Von Wafer
SF: Hedo Turkoglu, Anthony Morrow, Earl Clark
PF: Ryan Anderson, Glen Davis, Justin Harper
C: Brook Lopez, Mehmet Okur, Daniel Orton

If the Nets trade for howard without a long term extension they are complete fools. That almost goes for any team, but especailly the nets. Give up good young players and a draft pick to maybe sneak in playoffs as a 7 seed? Only to set your franchise back 5 years the next season? Yikes

He's no closer to a championship in that situation.... I think the Bulls make the most logical sense for him, and they can offer a decent package without gutting the team, while not completely leaving Orlando high and dry.

Bill Simmons had a fun idea for the playoffs that would never happen, but sounds amazing:

The idea was to only give out the top 7 playoff seeds, then have the bottom 8 in each conference play a one game tournament for the 8th seed. Obviously no sports league would ever do something this awesome, but how fun would that be?

Why would Howard move from one mediocre situation to another? The only thing wrong with this rumor is that it assumes Dwight is a complete imbecile.

You're assuming that the allure of the big city is more important to him than being in position to win a title. He'd be no closer to winning one in Jersey, and that's with Deron in the mix. If I were the Bulls, I offer Noah, Gibson and a second round pick or something to that effect, creating a potential lineup with Howard, Boozer, Deng, Rip, and Rose.

Vs. Playing in Chicago with a better PG in Rose and a crap-ton of depth?

Oooooh the allure of playing for a .333 winning percentage NJ team! Where do I sign?

P.S. The NY City claim I went round and round with someone else about back when Lebron was going *somewhere*....WINNING brings fame and fortune....not playing in a "big market". The internet follows you anywhere.
