Nice deflection to avoid my point. Explain how he's a different player now compared to 2009? This is his 8th season, we know what he can or can't do by now. Most players do not change their games during the prime of their careers especially big men.

You claim he gets punked by Collins....I show the playoff stats from last year where he destroyed Collins and the Hawks.

<shrug> I can't be any clearer than that.

Anyone with a clue about the NBA knows that most players don't peak until their mid to late 20's unless injuries become a factor.

Back to back 24 rebound games for Dwight....

Orlando Magic vs. Charlotte Bobcats - Box Score - December 30, 2011 - ESPN

20pts....4 blks...4 asst....0 fouls.

FT shooting was crappy but that's ok in light of the rest of the domination.

First player with a back to back 24 rebound game since Rodman in 1997.

Congrats with the regular season stats. Good job guys. Most impressive Magic player so far is Ryan Anderson.

Ah....so we can only talk about playoff games from at least 3 years ago in this thread so you don't have to face current reality.

You didn't want to seem to discuss the 2011 playoffs when I mentioned them earlier in this thread....I wonder why.

I'm talking about when the Magic were considered contenders. Do you consider them contenders now? I sure as hell don't and I'm a Magic fan! I just have the capability of using my brain!

2011 playoffs!? Yea, when they lost to the Hawks in the first round. Yea, lets talk about that. They were suppose to win that series but didn't. So yea, bring it up. Go ahead.

Please just give it up.
Game 1: 46pts, 19 boards.
Game 2: 33pts, 19 boards.
Game 3: 21pts, 15 boards.
Game 4: 29pts, 17 boards.
Game 6: 25pts, 15 boards.
Show me another CURRENT NBA player averaging/posting similiar numbers consistently in the playoffs at his position. He did this while guys like Zaza practically murders him under the basket (remember no one gets a technical when guarding Howard on defense).

The reason they lost that series was because the other pieces missed tons of shots and coaching is really the big problem for the Magic. It has been that way since Van Gundy showed up with his "Phoenix" scheme i.e. sit on the 3 point line with zero screens to give open shots.

Are they a contender this year? Not really. I don't think anyone but Miami has a chance.

We have brought it up.

Alzheimers much?

I'd mention Dwight's performance so far this season (again) but you don't count regular season or recent playoffs....one bizarre excuse after another to throw out his good performances.
