6'11 Durant SG
6'11 Toni Kuckoc SF
7'0 Dirk at PF
7'0 Thon Maker C

I'm not sure how they'd do, but it would interesting to see. This would be the most versatile lineup ever. Everyone on the team could play 3-5 positions. All the height and long arms would make passing lanes disappear. Imagine a team that could get a board and start the break from the center spot. I wonder if the NBA is heading toward this.
Heading to this...it will never happen!!! Not as long as guys like Steph Curry and Chris Paul exist!

SF Giannis - 6'11
PF Maker - 7'0
PG Carter-Williams 6'6
SG Middleton 6'8
C Monroe 6'11

The Bucks could go huge at times.

Gotta love US sports culture.

Not to be a big downer about things...just sad looking at the state of education in the US and meanwhile highschool sports coaches make 6-figs while schools build entire stadiums for sports while most of their students are only qualified for a future of manual labor.
Wow, and I thought MathGuy was jaded these days...must've had a rough patch five years ago.

FWIW, I agree sports over academics is what has placed our educational system so far behind the other top countries of the world.

He got picked #10 and very promising. I do like the 7 ft. 2" Chinese, Zhou Qi, that the Rockets drafted in the 2nd rd......scouts say he has high bball IQ....needs to eat more Big Macs though. He seems to be better, but Thon is still so young and has a higher ceiling.

He is of Sudanese descent, from the tallest tribal people on earth. (he lived down under here, we have a lot of immigrants from this wartorn region, they stand out obviously)
Will be interesting to see if he has the all round skills and agility to make it.

Go watch hoop-dreams.

Ain't jaded....it's informed. Sadly.

Also from an area where sports are pushed well over academics and the number of people that get out by sports is 10% of those that get out by academics.

Hope the kid has the greatest life ever, but pointing to his success while other threads about another kid that failed don't get bumped.
Bigtime college basketball programs quietly terminate kids all the time, you just don't notice because they don't play much.

A school yearbook from 2010 suggests he's 4 years older than he claims to be. Congratulations Milwaukee!

How the hell does a yearbook not surface in the ~5 years this man has been on pro radar? How much responsibility does Thon himself shoulder? He had to be in on it too...no way he's 23-24 and thought he was 19...especially after going BACK to high school. I wonder if the Bucks could renegotiate his contract due to fraud? This might be one of the biggest draft bust if he ends up not playing well...no team wants to waste a lotto pick.
