Iverson's is probably the most devastating due to his blinding quickness, having said that on many occassions he was crossing the line into carrying. Tim's to me looks more legal in the sense that he doesn't look like he's carrying, it's just a pure crossover dribble.

Gotta go Hardaway...Iverson's just plain looks illegal sometimes. Plus, Hardaway basically made 'crossover' part of the basketball venarcular; and, unlike Iverson and Wade who are probably superior to him athletically, he couldnt just rely on straight quickness and speed to get him where he wanted to go. Iverson and Wade probably have more just pure athletic ability to get to the cup.

At the height of his powers, some considered Hardaway's crossover a weapon on par with Kareem's skyhook.

I think Wade is one of the best I have ever seen at stepping through defenders/holes in a defense after he has picked up his dribble; his two steps to the hole are fantastic.

Good points. From a technical standpoint, I think Hardaway has the better crossover. There's more economy of motion in his crossover than there is in Iverson's.

Wade is also very good at splitting defenders with his dribble.

I've always thought it was a carry.

As much as I disliked Iverson as a player...I will give him the nod on this one.

Also, while it *looks illegal* he was merely going with what the refs were allowing at that time. So, since he got away with it....it's legal.

Perhaps, but I have alot more appreciation for Hardaway's crossover, he was doing it before the 'and-1' era that's influenced many of today's ballers. And, as mentioned above, 'technically' it was performed without the borderline carrying that Iverson got away with.

If we're talking purely about getting separation from his defender, then I think Wade gets the nod.

By the way, go to 1:21 in that Iverson video I posted where he faces off against Kobe. Tell me that's not a carry.
