This has been my complaint about the way most teams play basketball these days. I would love to see some team take the court and move the ball around like they did 30 or 40 years ago. They'd be unstoppable; there's not a franchise in the NBA that would be able to keep up with them!

As to the question, "too much talent to mesh?" That's nonsense. There's no such thing as too much talent to mesh. But there certainly is such a thing as too much ego to mesh. And that will be Miami's downfall; you can count on it.

It certainly is no guarantee, even for a team as gifted as the Heat, which is what disappointed me about Lebron's play. No-one can convince me that he laid it all on the line against Dallas.
Yes, I agree he didn't lay it all down. I believe he may look back at last year and really regret the way he played. I will give him credit though he looks good so far this year, scoring a lot and taking better shots. Let's see what he does in the playoffs though.

I figure this year will come down to injuries anyway. They are playing one game every 2.2 days following an shortened pre-season. I think there is going to be an overtraining effect and lots of injury problems.

On one hand the Heat are going to be vulnerable because if any one of their big three goes down they are likely screwed. OTOH the Bulls are deep, but also very dependent on one guy--Derrick Rose, who already has come down with a chronic toe issue.

And while I'm a Bulls fan, I have to admit that in their first season they made it to the finals (and challenged Dallas greatly) and this season they are as good as anyone.

Seriously, there just seems to be this massive retardation that claims they will win 6+ championships....met by a greater retardation that they are not meshing etc. etc.
