Love for Durant to get a MVP obviously, but I dont think it helps his case when he tells the media Lebron should have it. I hate when he pulls off this reverse pschy crap. It makes him look like Sterns baby superstar puppet designed for a more friendly NBA. What I do like is his attitude...That it doesnt matter who OKC meets in the playoffs. Dude wants to win.
Might help his case if he beats Kobe for the scoring title.....however....he's going to have to average about 37pts the next 2 games and then not have Kobe go for more than 28ish on Thursday.
They also may need to win in Sacramento Thursday or lose the division....which would mean they can't just feed Kobe for 40 and not care if they lose.
<shrug> Adds a little spice to otherwise meaningless games.
I'm hoping KD gets it, but i think Lebron will end up getting it again. His all around play really has helped his cause especially when Wade got hurt and sat out a few games. KD is leading Kobe by .1 for the scoring title as of tonite.
but if MVP awards were based solely on talent and player value to an organization, Kobe Bryant would've won three by now.
Good thing it isnt because Bryant is a selfish me-first shooting 30+ shots per game and making only 11 or 12 and not passing to anyone else. Dude should never be mentioned in any MVP talk. NEVER EVER!!
MVPs this year in THIS order:
Kevin Durant
Lebron James
Kevin Love
Russell Westbrook
Chris Paul
