On Friday, February 17th, the Knicks were scheduled to play the Bobcats on ESPN at 8pm. But now that game is not being shown and ESPN will air the Mavs at Sixers game on ESPN instead.

I guess ESPN took notice at how well the Sixers are doing and has now added the Sixers to their schedule for some additional games in Feb and March.

I am shocked since Sportscenter and other ESPN shows are obsessed with Lin-Sanity (quoted from those shows) just like they were with Tebow.

I know, that's why I was surprised too. ESPN has been talking about Lin all weekend

these things likely go into negotiation long before the play date. Expect to see more Lin and the Knicks.

It looks like ESPN removed the Knicks from Friday's schedule but added them for Sunday on ABC against Dallas at 1pm

I think ESPN noticed the Bobcats' record.

I think ESPN switched out the Knicks/Bobcats game for the 76ers/Mavericks game a couple weeks ago before the whole Lin phenomenon took hold.

Really, ESPN doesn't want to be showing the Bobcats on national TV, regardless of the circumstances. Moving the Knicks/Bobcats game off national TV and putting the Knicks/Mavericks game on national TV makes a lot of sense in both cases.

Yeah because that Knicks/mavs game was not originally a national televised game when the season first started. So even though they took them off friday they gave them a sunday national spot.
