I saw that this morning on ESPN. Now we have to see if he accepts Shumpert's invitation to assist him in the dunk contest

ummm why would he turn down a team mate? is he to good to be an assistant now?

he would be a fool to not accept a teammates request for help.

Maybe he prefers not to be in the spotlight and want to relax during all star weekend?

Well you can tell he doesn't like the attention so I'm surprised he accepted the invite to All Star weekend

Seriously man...? He's a humble guy, he probably really does love the attention just doesn't want to show it and hurt his reputation (That's called good PR). The dude went to Harvard so he's smart enough to know what's going on, he'd be a total idiot to not stay in the spotlight as much as possible, especially when he has the option to accept doing whatever it is their offering him for All-Star weekend. Like previously stated, the man was sleeping on his brothers couch and getting barely any playing time, then suddenly he is the biggest NBA star right now. No way he'd take himself out of the spotlight, it may not last long. Soak it up when possible. Not to mention, he needs all the TV time possible because after this season he's going to get PAID by someone if not the Knicks.
