I think it's way too early to declare Lin a success, or no success. What was John Stockton like in this first few weeks? Steve Nash? Or even a guy like Rondo.

You look at his game log since Feb 4th, one month ago, 25 points, 38 points, 20, 26, 19.

He's had 2 games in the last 16 under 14 points. His minutes are down since his little hot streak, but still 14 points, 20 points. I think that game against Miami shook him up, worst game so far. But I don't know if one game is a trend.

Well tonight's game is not really a test because it's a game on the road against the Bucks which the Knicks should win but who knows with this team. But I want to see Lin have a productive game on the road against a winning team and he will get a chance to do that on Monday when they travel to Chicago to play the Bulls. So that's the next step he has to take since we have already seen him score over 20 at home against a winning team. Now it's time for him to score over 20 against a winning team on the road which will show improvement.

BTW: The 20 pts that Lin scored against the Spurs on Wednesday did not count because he score 8 pts in the last min of the game when it was out of reach.

i kinda agree with that, lin was relegated to the bench in favor of baron davis and shumpert. he came back in during garbage time when the spurs had their bottom of the bench guys in and no "true point guard" even on the floor.

ok i said i agree with TVandSportsGuy, time to wash my mouth out with soap and burn my finger tips with battery acid!

So it looks like he was stat padding so he can maintain his 20 PPG average which explains why he was so aggressive when the game was no longer in reach. Can't wait to see what he does tonight against the Bucks in Milwaukee.

It is not Melo or Lin. I think it is D'Antoni. Hd made a big mistake by pulling the hot team out. Big mistake. The Knicks could have won. I don't think he understand his players. Maybe the Knicks need new coach not new players.

I do blame D'Antoni for the loss against the Celtics. The Knicks were up 3 and instead of fouling pierce they let him take the three and send the game into OT. I remember a Clippers game when they did not let the other team ever attempt a three pointer. They continued to foul and foul until the clock ran out and there was never any OT. That's what the Knicks coach need to learn how to do

Yes, the Linsanity and the Brady championship days. So relieved.

Well even though the Knicks won last night, Lin only had 6 pts so his production is definitely going down as we go further into the season.

They each played like 2 quarters yesterday. Chandler has the most minutes, almost 27 minutes.

Another thing is Lin has been play a lot less minute since Davis joined the team. He used to get like 40+ minutes in the 7 games he started. Then David joined, and he was play around 30 minutes.
