They start getting Miami's 1st round picks next season and they will have another one that must be used by 2017; they also have another 2nd round pick from them, but not sure when that has to be used by.

I don't see the point in trading Jamison unless they can get something of value back, and not sure willing to give up a 1st rounder for him. I guess a team like Dallas may be able to use him off the bench, but just can't see him as a good fit.

Honestly, I'd be okay with the Cavs trading anyone except Irving, Thompson & Varajeo at this point going forward for the right deal. The only guy outside of those 3 that I see as being part of their 'core' going forward is possibly Alonzo Gee who has made really good strides this year, could see him as a solid guy coming off the bench for seasons to come.

I would do either of the trades you propose Mathguy for Sessions in a heartbeat. I think because of the trade exception the Lakers got for Odom, they can actually just take Sessions for a draft pick - don't need to match salaries - so they can just keep Fisher & Walton! Neither guy is ideal in a rebuild.
Yeah, if the Lakers could unload Walton, Fish and Peas for 3 players of Sessions level they are suddenly a legitimate threat to perhaps win another title. (I'm not saying favorite but at least they'd be in the hunt instead of an unlikely longshot) They should sell their soul and just start packing picks with those 3 guys and throw caution to the wind IMO. Then again, I'm rather an all or nothing type guy in terms of building a franchise. A title is forever, a bad season is forgotten.

Doesn't Anthony have a trade approval clause in his contract?

I think the Knicks are stuck with Anthony for a loooooong time.

Orlando wouldn't take that trade. Looks like the bulls need a swing man now that hamilton is out.

Don't get me wrong. Knicks has talents. But they cannot win without defense. On offense, you can be a one man show, but defense is team sport.

Bulls have tons and tons of trade ammo....might be curious to see what they do.
They are not dumb enough to trade for Carmelo.

Maybe Ray Allen if the Celts will trade him.

Yeah, if Boston did a rebuild I'd love to have him or pierce in a heartbeat.

I don't think they'd trade pierce partially for sentimental reasons and partially because I think he has a few left and they don't want to be rebuilding and be terrible for 5 years.

I agree. I've long been a big fan of pierce, just mentioning him because of that and not any real chance of it happening.
