Ok, a little over a week to go.

Rumors, rampant speculation etc. starting to swirl.

Now some of it is just bloggers and writers trying to stir controversy, I even saw Kobe trade rumors on one google search which I personally find hillarious.

Big names being *reasonably* floated about include:

Dwight
Deron
Pau
Rondo

Will be interesting to see what shakes out.

Any thoughts?

I don't think any of them get shipped.

I am pushing my spurs to trade Blair, bonner, and James Anderson for Howard. I'm sure we can make that happen right?

The Bulls should go after Howard. Give up Boozer, Noah and maybe a draft pick. That would make the Bulls the favorite over the Heat! I think Howard will go to the Nets.

For all the big name potential that is out there, I agree with Rigas that I don't think we will see much movement. The more I read about the magic potentially shipping DH, the less I believe it.

Hoping that the Cavaliers are able to land a 1st round pick from the Lakers or Hawks or anybody else for Ramon Sessions now that they are falling fast after losing Varajeo to injury.

Sessions for Fish and a 1st rounder would be a win for both teams.

I don't know if the Lakers would trade Fisher though with the whole legacy thing.

However, Luke Walton + 1st rounder would work.

Orlando will hold out on Howard and play the field for a new PG. That is my guess.

As much as Rondo seems to be on the trade block, his recent numbers would make it a hard pill to let go.

The Celtics are in a REALLY interesting position for a potential quick re-load.

HoopsHype - NBA Salaries - Boston Celtics

Sheed, Allen and Garnett are all on their last contract year....which means Boston will have huge dollars in free agency if they just re-sign Garnett and Allen for reasonable amounts.

I don't know much about the upcoming FA market to comment further.

Orlando's payroll is so pathetically incompetant that viewing this may cause birth defects to pregnant women. *warning*
HoopsHype - NBA Salaries - Orlando Magic

Orlando needs to draft new management if they haven't and I just missed it.
