We will be able to write the storyline in NY papers if the Knicks win the next 3 games. They will be saying.....Looks like the coach was the problem"

What Datoni did today is what I wanted Tom Coughlin to do after he won the SB last month

Mike Woodsoon is a pretty good defensive coach.

The Knicks has no problem scoring. It is their defensive that giving up too many points.

Just hope Knicks will get people excited again.

Unless Mike Woodson plays defense, the Knicks will still be unable to play defense. Melo and Amare both refuse to play it so no coach will get through to those two.

The knicks fall into 3 categories:

1) The guy that can and will defend: Chandler
2) The guy that tries to defend but due to athleticism or immaturity can't: Lin and others
3) The guy that could defend but refuses to: Amare and Melo

I know which group I would blame, especially because those are your team leaders and represent 60% of your payroll.

i would add in a "guys who cant defend so they dont try" group, and that is where i would throw lin, maybe one or 2 other guys. maybe throw davis in there as well. i think guys like lin know he cant defend so why bother. amare MIGHT fall into that category

i find this funny actually

Jeremy Lin is expected to be greatly impacted by the resignation of Mike D'Antoni.

Lin's breakout was at least in part due to how he ran D'Antoni's system while Carmelo Anthony was out with an injury.

Mike Woodson is known for running an offense that relies heavily on isolation plays, which is a strength of Carmelo Anthony.

One scout says the change is "probably going to cost Lin millions in new contract."

I;m just mad I can't see the knicks play tonight on TV lol But please stop mentioning Mike Woodson as some defensive savior because he was fired from the Hawks for a reason and it certainly wasn't because of his defensive schemes.

A win is a win. Knicks will have to fight hard to get that #8 sports. They have to win the next 5 to get back to 500. Hope they can carry the momentum for the next few games.

Next 5: Pacers, Pacers, Rapters, 76ers and Rapters
Next 5 for Bucks:
