Stephen A Smith just confirmed on ESPN NY Radio that Mike DAToni has resigned from the knikcs. WOW, did not see that coming but I guess he figured he might as well get out now before he was canned.

I thought for sure he would be fired first. Perhaps he was avoiding the pink slip...

Well he knew that which is why he said..."let me get out of here"

I mentioned in the NBA Season thread that he had that look on Monday night like he was going to be fired and guess he decided to leave.
