I was having a debate with a friend of mine tonight and I was telling him how I will always believe the Jazz was a better team and did't win Game 6 because of what happened below

1. Stupid 3 point shot by John Stockton with the Jazz up 83-81 late in the game

2. Bad Turnover with the Jazz up 86-85 and that lead to a Bulls basket and 87-86 lead

3. Not double teaming on Jordan when he had the ball on last shot

Am I the only one who believes that the Jazz take Game 7 in a blowout? I mean would the Bulls have had anything left for a Game 7?

I will always believe the Jazz was the better team that year. Utah FUMBLED the game away

If they were the better team they wouldn't have let the game get away from them. Plenty of teams looked better on paper but couldn't come through in the clutch...there's certainly something to be said for intangibles.

looking back at a series from 1998... I could u understand you revisiting it if it were 1-2 years ago, but 14!!!

Don't u think it's time to let it go?

If they were the better team they would have won! Simple & plain.

The reality is, you can apply 'what-ifs' to so many different scenarios. It's really meaningless.....the Bulls won in 1998. Shoulda, coulda, woulda, mighta......yawn.

Bear in mind that TVSG is the same guy who, months ago, was arguing that if Jordan had missed 'the shot' vs Cleveland in '89 that the Bulls dynasty never would have happened.

Same guy who to this day thinks the 76ers kept their 4-1 series loss to the heat close. Or that their is a shoe-in to win COTY honors because they have lead the Atlantic most of the season.

The Jazz was able to push the series back to Utah with a clutch win in Chicago in game 5. The last 3 minutes of Game 6 the Jazz had this game wrapped up and all because of a player who let Jordan steal the ball that is what won the game.

And the Hall of Fame coach doesn't tell his team to double team Jordan if he has the ball? It was the coach that lost this series for the jazz because they were the better team. The Jazz would have won game 7 by 39 pts

They were the better team it was the coach who managed to fumble the game away.
