Mohammad El Akkari scores 113 points in a FIBA Asia game - ESPN

The stat line is pretty funny

Quote:
Akkari, a 27-year-old guard for Moutahed of Tripoli who went in averaging only 7.6 points in 23 games, made 40-of-69 shots, including 32-of-59 3-pointers, according to fibaasia.net. He had only one free throw
59 3 point attempts. lol

well sure, he may be the greatest scorer the game has ever known but he won't play defense, disappears completely at crunch time and his father-in-law is an infidel.

I like how he averages 7 ppg but the article says he is a great but under rated scorer/shooter. The points are crazy but come on dude averages 7ppg, is not under rated!

One can only imagine the quality of basketball being played here.

Saddam Hussain's sons scored at this level in all sports. Everyone was afraid to guard them. If you stole the ball from them, you'd be convicted of stealing and be shot.

You have to wonder what Wilt Chamberlain would think of that. He only managed 100 (of course, he actually did that in an NBA game).

has anyone saw the highlights? there is 0 defense from the other team, especially the #9 guy. all he did is watch him shoot or put a hand up, he didnt even jump to guard him. ray allen can score 200 as of right now if he got that kind of defense on him.

I saw the highlights, even dead people can play better defense than them
