Odom leaving Dallas
Looks like Dallas is going to just list him as inactive for the rest of the season and either buy him out or trade his rights around draft night.
Dallas is maybe the most dysfunctional team in the league. I love that about the mavs lol

Yeah, that whole situation is wierd but basically I think Lamar is just having some personal issues with the Lakers trying to ship him and his cousin or nephew being shot dead and so forth. Not to mention the ridiculous reality show which he is roped into and can't escape from.
I just don't think his head is one straight and it was definitely a bit of a hail mary move by Dallas struggling with the departure of Chandler and others.

The reality show, and Kardashian circus in general, ended his career in LA & now Dallas, and I doubt it will be revived.

He'll be ok... no sympathy here
I thought it was incredibly childish to ask to be traded after the Paul deal went through because his "feelings" were hurt.

Obviously he felt unwanted and figured if they didn't want him, why would he want to play for them. The best case scenario based on his home life would be to sign with the Clips, Kings or Warriors next season.

He's been in the league long enough to know that players get traded... The NBA is a business before anything else. the man was making $10M or so as a salary. Being a commodity for the team to trade comes with that insane salary
and his agent WARNED him beforehand that he was more than likely gonna be traded!!!
So to get all sensisitive like the Lakers did him dirty is utterly ridiculous. Grow up Lamar...
And don't give me his home life situation. EVERY human being deals with tragedy and unfortunate situations. The strong, man up and handle them, obviously he is weak.

It's Lamar Odom being Lamar Odom ........ guy just isn't all there ....... it's been that way going back to when his name was first learned
He's a derrick coleman level underacheiver
Be a paid professional, show up, do your job and play as hard as you can for the team that was willing to invest in you ..... it's not even like he was traded to some outpost ....... he was sent to an organization that is known for taking very good care of it's players
just doesn't make sense .... but then again, that's lamar odom

He has a major attitude that does not fit into Mavs style of play.
Miami would be a good fit for him I believe.

Pretty sure any player that had or has talent, that won't command a big salary, will be in the "good fit" for the heat discussion.
