Bynum's only issue is that he plays with the worst ball hog in the history of the NBA - Bryant. Stupid Bryant who has probably the worst FG % (43%) of any starter in the league prefers to try to shoot up over double teams instead of passing to Bynum who is top three in the league in FG %. Notice how much better the Lakers have been playing recently with Bryant out? Its because Bynum gets more touches and as a result scores more points and the TEAM is much better.

Thunder have the lakers all messed up. Bynum is playing decent defense but his offense at the house isn't going so well. And how about crazy arse artest (i refuse to call him that stupid name) trying to take hardens head off in a terrible flagrant 2.

And Kobe isn't shooting well. He showed a hint of ball hog too, pulling up on a fast break 2 on 1 for a 15' shot which he missed. Just not a good play.

All that said, lakers are not out of it.

Perkins tends to do a decent job on Bynum.

Teams with some size in the paint enough to keep Pau and Bynum from hitting the O-boards and getting easy points have generally been the Lakers weak spot this season by limiting 2nd chances and keeping the FG% down.

Lakers are something like #2 in rebounding this season so if you can't slow them down in that area, they are going to hurt you.

interesting thing, bynum didnt play a single minute after the 3rd period of yesterdays game and he was like -18 on the +/-

the thunder are not a great rebounding team but bynum looked pretty bad. all except the 5 blocks.

Bynum has the talent to be a great player, his problem which I think will be a career lasting problem is he doesn't outwork his talent and he never will.

Bynum has been somewhat of a fish killer this season. In general when matched up against converted 4's and scrub centers which the west is full of.....he dominates.

Throw a solid center against him and he becomes a lot more erratic.

Let's see how he does in the playoffs, I will give him the benefit of the doubt.

Did you guys know that Bynum is getting the same knee treatment(Orthokine) that Kobe got in Germany this coming offseason...apparently, this procedure has worked wonders on other athletes(ARod, Deshawn Stevenson, plus European soccer players)...i just gotta wonder when the NBA will ban this. I wonder if the Olympics has banned this already? Also, there is a doctor in NY who used to work for this doctor(Germany) charging like 12k per knee.

Why would it be banned. When explaining the procedures there are no mention of steriods or growth hormones, just a procedure to reduce inflammation.

Yes, it is basically reintroducing proteins from your own blood which is just normal and perfectly fine. I just wonder about other doctors down the road that might introduce other 'chemicals' to 'dope' the blood along with healthy proteins that as a precautionary measure, the Olympics might ban it down the road. When you deal with blood, there is always an opportunity for doping. Right now, i think anyone with knee issues whether athlete or not should give it a try unless $ is an issue. My friend is seriously looking into this procedure. It works with great success. All athletes with knee issues should look into this. I'm just curious if it could lead to unscrupulous doctors trying to 'improve' the method as sophistication methods of non-detection progresses..
