A lot of us remember the Knicks-Heat battles in the playoffs in the past and they were great dramatic series. Will this be a new addition to the chapter? Will the Knicks upset the Heat? Will the Heat dominate? Will lebum choke again?

What are your thoughts?

Most posters here are not old enough to remember the Knicks being relevant in the playoffs and this year doesn't change that.

There are kids out there driving that weren't born when the Knicks last won their division.

The Knicks haven't won a playoff game since 2001. They will be lucky not to extend the drought by another year.

LOL.

Hah, that makes me feel old. I clearly remember back when the Pacers and Bulls were the Knicks biggest rivals, and the Knicks/Rockets finals.

That said, I think Miami is too much for New York honestly. Any given night, yeah, maybe Knicks can run, but the series is going to take flat out luck because New York is outmatched.

If Lin had played in this series, Heat in 6. Since he is out, Heat in 5...

I would reverse that almost. With Lin out heat in 7. With Lin heat in 5. Lin was not good under pressure with anything other then taking random shots. His passing wasn't great, his ball handling was terrible, and he was out of control 75% of his minutes. He took shots from melo who takes shots away from amare.

There's a much bigger gap between the current Heat and Knicks teams, then the 90's incarnations of said teams. This series will be entertaining, but the only way the Knicks take a few games is if Carmelo goes off offensively and Amare takes his matchup with Bosh. Otherwise, Heat in 5.

Heat in 5, maybe 6 if Melo and Amare play at a superstar level.
