It was a frustration foul because Wade was fouled at the other end and it wasn't called.

Spurs looked rustyyyyy. Especially tony Parker. Can't wait till tony gets his rhythm! Tim dominated every post player put on him, and Diaw/leonard played great!

Clippers looked pretty good, coming back time and time again.

57 points in the first half indicates that San Antonio wasn't that rusty after all. However a very good shooting night by the Clippers made it a relatively close game as Spurs games go. Look for Tony to have a much better night on Thursday. And I doubt the LAC will have two excellent shooting nights in a row. It would take a nearly perfect game by the LAC combined with a truly lousy game by the Spurs for the Clippers to actually win a game. It's not likely to happen.

I was shocked because I thought the Clippers would lose by 20 or more

I don't expect a sweep but if it happens I wouldn't be that shocked. I believe the series will end in five games

the points are not an indication of rust/rest but lack of defense on the opposing team by both teams.

the rust shows in the fact that manu airballed not 1 but 2 3 pointers. or the fact that splitter airballed his only 2 free throws. or tonys 1-9 with multiple wide open looks being badly off.

bottom line spurs played rusty, especially in the 1st half. their defense tightened up in the 2nd though the clippers really didnt tighten up until the 4th.
