That Miami-Pacers game yesterday is one of the few times I've seen James and Wade actually play 'off each other' instead of the 'my turn, your turn' dynamic that we've seen the past two seasons. Lebron had a monster game, but I think Wade overcoming his struggles gave the team the morale boast they needed, and everything picked up from there. Lebron's become the clear alpha on that team now but I believe Wade is still the emotional leader.
If Gasol and Bynum were both consistent, everything else would fall into place. After this year Gasol will probably be gone. Bynum and Sessions will probably improve some, but so will some of the Thunder players. Brown coaching hasn't helped either. I think had Bynum stepped it up one or two years ago, the Lakers could've won last year and enticed Phil to stay on.

Game 4: Kobe took 1/2 the teams shots in the 4th quarter, mostly from the outside....he made 2 of 10.
That loss is 100% Kobe, although we could blame the coach for Kobe not listening to him but well....even Phil had that problem.
The other loss where he took 32 shots, the other 4 starters took 34 shots that game.
How can you be consistent when you are getting 8 shots in a game and the guy taking 32 shots then BLAMES YOU in the press conference?
One of those games Bynum had 4 offensive rebs and only got 8 shots.
I'm expecting to hear a trade demand out of Bynum and Gasol.

The reality is its all but impossible for the team to establish any kind of consistent rhythm when they simply don't know which Kobe is going to show up on a given night: the scorer or the facilitator.
And we had this conversation before, didn't we? Which Kobe is going to show up when things get tough? The ball should literally be pounded inside on every offensive possession to Bynum and Gasol, trying to get Ibaka and Perkins in foul trouble. I get the impression neither of them feel entirely comfortable taking too many shots without stepping on Kobe's toes. When one guy is taking as many shots alone as your second and third best player, at a significantly lower percentage, you're gonna have issues.
James and Wade went off. I'll give credit where it is due. Win or lose, I am a Pacer fan and will stand by my team. Which is more than you can say.
Well you acted like the series was over after the Pacers went up 2-1 so I just had to remind you that the series is all tied again and that the Pacers now have to win another game in Miami if they want to win this series. And that won't be easy since their game 2 win in Miami was not that convincing.
Lakers could easily be the ones up 3-1, but unfortunately they are not. At this point I can definitely see Gasol getting trades for another starter and some bench. Too bad it hasn't worked out better with Gasol and Bynum.
I have no idea what you mean when you say the Lakers should be up 3-1 in this series. That sounds absolutely ridiculous because the only game the Lakers had in hand was Game 2. Game 4 was never out of reach because once the 2 minute mark came in the 4th qtr the game was close and neither team was ahead. So the series should be 2-2 right now heading back to OKC not 3-1.

There will be no trade demand needed for Gasol. The Lakers will dump him on the first team that is dumb enough to take him. I'm sure they are calling the Knicks right now. Just like they tried to trade Gasol during the year.
I do not know why you are defending Gasol so much. He has done nothing this series. No rebounding, no defense, nothing. Just stands just out side the line and occasionally goes to set a ball screen and then go back immediately to where he was for the rest of the possession.
That's what all the 'experts' have been saying. The series would be 3-1 in favor of Lakers had they not given up Games 2 & 4.
They didn't give up Game 4, only Game 2. The Lakers had a lead in Game 4 but it was early in the 4th quarter and by time the 2 or 3 min came the game was close and it was up for grabs for either team. So the series should be 2-2 not 3-1.
