Oh please, the Sixers just became relevant again in 2011 after being a predictable and losing team from 2003-2010. Not sure how long Doug Collins will stick around but he is their best player and wears a suit on the sideline. It's still mind boggling that Iggy is still here and has helped the team accomplish nothing but everyone wanted to get rid of AI who led the team to the Finals.
Oh please what? I grew in Chester County, PA and lived either there or in North Wilmington for 39 years and 3 months until this past March when I moved to Lewes, De when the Hook refinery shutdown. I'm not sure what Oh please means? I've always been a Philly sports fan and I never said the Sixers were great? I've never been a front runner.

It just seems like new fans hit the surface this year because of their "dishonest run" in the playoffs. Not sure if you are one of those but so many have been saying they are sixers fans when I didn't hear anything 3 years ago.
TVSG,
Dude, i could only read one or two of your posts....the rest of your posts are giving me a headache...you're killing your own thread....sooner or later, there will be no interest in this thread.

Well you missed a good game last night in the ECF that went into overtime, something that has yet to happen in the Western Conference Finals.

The Sixers have C- talent and had a B+ year, they stunk 3 years ago, yea I was a fan but what was there to talk about?
Good game last night, too many fouls against the Celtics but it didn't cost them the game. Rondo was the best player on the court last night, IMHO.

My problem with Rondo is his bi-polar way of playing point guard. He is the type that will come out in Game 3 and score 10 pts after scoring 44 pts in game 2. There is no consistency with Rondo, he is either really good or really bad and I;m not sure why a team would want to keep a player like that.

I think there were reports of problems between Rondo and Doc Rivers or Rondo and the Celtics organization, something like that. I guess for the future the Celtics need him with KG, Paul Pierce, and Ray Allen getting older. He is inconsistent, one night he looks like great and others he looks horrible.
