Because he left before the game was over on top of everything that went on during the series when they came close to confrontation.

Heat leap off the page, they could play him at the 5.
OKC....bench player to spell Perkins etc.
Lakers...god only knows but they have no bench and gasol is likely gone via trade and who knows what they will get.
Bulls....don't need him IMO.
Dallas, could really use him.
Spurs....they are pretty stacked already but Garnett would help.
I'd say the Bulls could definitely use Garnett. Anchor the second unit defensively, spell Boozer and Noah, provide a veteran presence and championship experience, and he has Chicago high school roots. Frankly I can't think of a better place for him at this stage of his career.

He fits in very well with that teams defensive philosophy, considering that he would be more than familiar with Thibodeau .

Slap in the face? I don't think that he is leaving via free agency, it's more of Boston not wanting him back because they decided to build off Rondo now and start bringing in new players. there comes a time when a team ownership decides to let a player walk away so they can bring others in and word is that it is now for Boston. If anything, Garnett is getting slapped in the face, not the other way around but we will see if all the rumors that I have been hearing are true.

Any contender would love to have KG. He would get them over the hump. People can hate the guy, but he just never takes any play off. He always gives full effort out there and still beasting over around 25min a game. He can still hit those long range jumpers and play some tough D inside the paint. With Rose out till 2nd half of next season, KG could help the Bulls alot.

If Garnett wants to be back he'll be back. Allen maybe not. But garnett's decline has been very slow and he still has plenty left.

The word came from people within the organization that didn't want to be recognized that Garnett is one of the players gone no matter what. They don't want him back. They want to bring in young guys NOW.

Well out of the Big 4 looks like only 2 will be in the starting five next season, Rondo and Pierce

I understand that teams have to start over but these guys aren't on a major decline. Maybe adding some decent role players would be a better idea but I guess Boston just wants to start fresh.
