Yea... it's still more than likely going back to Oklahoma. Rarely does the home team win 3 straight.

I think it only happened once, 2004 Pistons. I could be wrong.

I don't like the 2-3-2 either. If the away team can steal a game at home, they have the possibility to win out at home without going back on the road. I know that doesn't happen very often, but I still don't like it.

yea... the complaint about the format is overrated in my eyes. It hasnt proved to be any advantage or disadvantage.

And the format is to make the media coverage travel easier. Not the teams travel. The NBA doesnt care about making it easier for the teams to travel. Hence why its 2-2-1-1-1 in the other rounds. They want the most coverage for the Finals so they make it easier.

I'm not a big fan of 2-3-2.

I think it gives the away team more of an advantage, vs 2-2-1-1-1.

2-2-1-1-1, you're clearly at a disadvantage as a road team. Kind of like being black in chess. 2-3-2 is like giving yourself a 20 minute timeout if you're the black pieces. There's something about those middle 3 games.

2-2-1-1-1, I think it forces you more to win on the road and kind of "prove yourself". How many times have you heard..."and now we're going back to Madison Square Garden (or Boston Garden) for Game 7". The expectation is, you're not going to win, its going to be tough (because the roles keep reversing. We go in your building, you come in ours).

It seems like the Finals rarely go to a game 6 or 7. Only 3 NBA Finals series have gone 7 games in the last 20 years.

I don't like the 2-3-2 format either.

OkC will win this if Brooks does't make more bone headed moves like taking Durant out of the game in the 3rd quarter when they are on a roll. WTF was he thinking?!!!

OKC may not have a chance tonight since Ibaka publicly said "Lebron is not a good defender" today which was beyond dumb for 2 reasons

1. Lebron made the all defensive team

2. Ibaka has done nothing so far in the Finals to say anything about anyone

That was a stupid comment on Ibaka's behalf. Did you actually see/hear him say that TV?
