The Sacramento Kings, with the lowest payroll in basketball, sell their second round draft pick for cash.

As a Bucks fan, I think they did well in getting Henson at 14 and than getting Doron Lamb early in round 2. Henson has been projected as a Lottery pick and the Bucks didnt expect him to be available at 14. Lamb can really shoot the ball, and I thought he would go in the first round-----so good draft for the Bucks.

That is a great pick for them to get him at the end of the 1st round!

I hope you are right about Waiters, but I am not thrilled w/the Cavs drafting. Should have traded down if that is who they really wanted - all I gotta say is he better be good for them to pass on Robinson & Barnes.

I guess I can live w/their pick of Zeller, but still think they gave up too much to get him in a deep draft. He reminds me of another Zydrunas at best, and Chris Mihm at worst.

Just hope these picks aren't Tragic Langdon & Mihm all over again for the Cavaliers.

Waiters was a Top 7 pick. The Cavs essentially passed on Robinson (They have Thompson), Lilliard they have Irving and chose between Barnes and Waiters. I think Robinson is the second safest pick in this draft, but Cavs passed on Safe for upside. I see Waiters as having the better overall game over Barnes. But I would have have rather had them select Beal- but he was gone.

I like Zeller given the options at 24, 32 and 33. Maybe Perry Jones and Green and Lamb would have been better? Zeller is a 7 footer and will get a chance to learn and Pair up with AV (until he's traded). If you look at Zeller's game he fits very well with Thompson. He should have been a later lottery guy.

I'm not concerned about trading Picks as the Cavs have probably a 8-12 range pick and probably a low 20 pick next season (Lakers or Heat Pick)- one more building block and another rotational guy will be added. If they get lucky they may have 3 first round picks.

I would just like all the nonsense to stop about leaving at void at SF for Lebron to come back. Let him be.

Thats was one of the more uneventful drafts I can remember. Pretty dull in my book.

Surprised Ross went as high as he did with so much talent still on the board.

Liked Cleveland's draft night getting Waiters and Zeller. Living in NC I've seen Barnes overhyped for three years now (including his senior year of HS) so it will be interesting to see how he does as a pro.

The Bobcats filled a huge need (athletes, defense, shooting) over the past few days getting Gordon and then MKG in the draft. Unfortunately, they will still be awful and have plenty of other glaring holes as well.

A story out here in Sacramento stated that Kings GM Geoff Petrie really liked Waiters, and planned on getting him with the 5th pick if Davis, Robinson and Beall were already gone from the board.

Though the Kings need help at SF, they apparently weren't too high on Kidd-Gilchrist or Barnes.

Could be a real sleeper for the Cavs, apparently quite a few basketball folks think he'll do better in the pro's than at college.

I always feel you take the best player available when you are drafting that high. I realize they have Thompson in place, but if they are really going to trade Varajeo, then it's not like they have a lot of depth beyond Zeller & Thompson. I was very impressed w/Robinson this past season and think he has a chance to be a really good pro.

I was never sold on Barnes either so I can accept them taking Waiters over him I guess as long as they plan to address their weakness at the SF spot via free agency. I like Gee, but think he is better suited coming off the bench playing 20-25 min/game. They have no SG either so I'm happy they at least addressed one of those two spots. I hope everyone on here is right about Waiters and he turns into a solid pro.

Like I said, can live w/the pick of Zeller, but had they not traded those 3 picks and taken say Perry Jones, Draymond Green & Darius Miller or Doron Lamb, think I would have been a lot more excited about that trio than just landing Zeller. But, I haven't scouted these guys like they have, so hope they have done their homework and know what they're doing.

Rooting hard for the Kings to sneak into the playoffs this coming season so the Cavs will get a 3rd 1st rounder next year...anticipate that Miami's 1st rounder will be in the 25-30 range unless they have a major injury or something.

And I agree about all the Lebron returning nonsense, let's just start w/a sincere apology from him about quitting on the team in the 2010 playoffs vs. Boston first.
