The list of centers better than Bynum last year... Howard, .... ?

He played with Kobe and Gasol. So he's going to be option #3 - maybe #2 on some days? He wasn't called on to produce star quality numbers.

Say what?

The guy averaged a 19-12 on only 13 shots per game and a 56+% from the field.

The outside-in style of the Lakers lead to lots of long rebounds too.

He was only 24 last year and was 2nd team all-nba.

You are a 76er fan and have no idea how well you came out of that trade.

Orlando's management is less competant than a drunken lobotomy patient, congratulations for getting a big upgrade out of their stupidity.

Watch him drop 23-14 this year.

Im basing my opinion on his performance in the playoffs the last two seasons and that's when he came up small. The year the Lakers won the title he didn't play due to injury.

Did you watch game 7 vs. Denver?

Kinda hard to come up big when someone else is taking 30 shots a game and then blaming you for losses.

My opinion is he was already planning on leaving LA and so was Gasol....but Bynum was more tradeable.
(They were trying to get rid of Gasol too still.....did you see him owning at the Olympics?)

Kobe had to take more shots because

1. Bynum was too goofy down low and had no moves when given the ball

2. gasol was always afraid to take the big shot late in the game......example: Game 4 vs OKC

So now Kobe doesn't have to do any of that because he has a HOF PG and a much better center which will open things up for him, Artest, and Gasol.

Ah, I will be bumping the crap out of this thread this year.

Another "it's everyone but Kobe's fault" guys.

Weren't you blaming gasol before too? Go ahead, lie....it's not like I won't search your posts.

You just referred to Nash as a HOF PG..............................................si gh. What's next, they get Pippen to come out of retirement so you can brag about them having a HOF SF?

I really wish you were just trolling. It would put a smile on my face.

So Nash is not a future HOF point guard?

Ah, so we have now reached the "neener neener boo boo" phase of the discussion.

Tell you what, let's do a friendly wager. Stakes, of perhaps a tag-line for a week bet? (I've lost those here before. )

I will take the over on Bynum at 20/12 up to the all-star break (I don't want to wait the whole season).
You can have the under.

If he is over on just one then we call it a draw.

Otherwise one of us wins.

Injury voids the competition.

Whatcha think?
