76ers
Now before I totally lose my mind, somebody please tell me who in their right mind would pay to see a Sixers game as the team is currently constructed. Kwame Brown, Nick Young, Kwame Brown wtf is that. It's bad enough to be a disappointed Phillies fan but at least they tried.
At some point don't you as a GM have to try sell tickets to games or maybe the new owners like playing for 1/2 empty houses at home. Right now I don't see the Sixers as a top 8 team in the east, I really hope something is on the horizon like a decent trade or something because I think the Sixers were better off keeping Elton Brand instead of signing garbage to replace him.
Starting 5 right now
Holiday at the 1
Turner at the 2
Iggy at the 3
Hawes at the 4
Brown at the 5 or center whatever.
If myself and 4 other dudes from this forum couldn't hang in a game against that slop, I slit my own throat.

It would make more sense IMO if that were the lineup, for Brown to be at the 4 and Hawes at the 5, but I guess that really doesn't matter. And granted, I don't know your basketball background, but unless the 4 other guys on this forum are named Kobe, Lebron, etc. I really doubt that you'd be able to hang in a game against that "slop" lol.

Yea I know we couldn't hang with those guys, just joking, but you don't need Kobe or Lebron to hang with that mess either. I'm curious to see who's doing the scoring for that team. It's one thing to have defensive team with a guy who can score in the 20s every night, the Sixers don't have it as presently constructed. For the first time in my 39 years I might have root for another team, but I'm still holding out hope something good is coming this summer.
I'm just looking for someone here to say "relax, it's all good the Sixers will be ok" "James420 is an idiot and has no idea what he's talking about".

Yep, they should retain their defensive intensity. Lou Williams, though I liked his scoring prowess, was a defensive liability so it was essentially addition by subtraction there. But yeah these moves does beg the question of where the offense is going to come from. I do still have high hopes for Jrue and ET though.

Defensively, they're still pretty good. Brown gets heat because he was a #1 overall pick, but he's a respectable post defender. This team(regardless of how they beat the Bulls) was one win away from the ECF for a reason.

The Sixers have went out of their way to become the 4th best team in the Atlantic division because of
1. Letting Lou Williams walk
2. Getting rid of Elton Brand
3. Signing Kwame Brown
4. Extending Lavoy Allen
5. Extending Spencer Hawes

Yup he was their leading scorer and the main reason they were in lots of games.

Their defense is pretty good, their offense just needs some kind of jump start.
