I say that the limit on overtimes in a game should be 3. I say after the 3rd overtime period of a game if it is still tied, they should go to a game of horse between 2 opposing players. I have a feeling this will be implemented within the next 5 seasons sometime after the NBA catches wind of this from the seeds I'm planting here on city-data...lol

You think this would be a good idea?
So they have the flopping thing. The Reggie Miller thing. How long it takes after introductions before tip-off. And now this? Is the NBA trying to sabotage themselves?
I'll assume this is a serious question and give the serious answer that it fixes a problem that doesn't exist.
There has been 1 game in the past 15 years that didn't resolve within 3 OT periods (it was a quadruple OT game last year between the hawks & jazz)
Seems like an awful lot of effort to stop teams playing an extra 5 minutes of ball for a situation that happens on a very rare instance (only 9 times in NBA history has a game exceeded 3 OTs)

No, they all get paid enough money to play until one team has more points than the other once the clock says zero, even if it's 5 overtimes.
