Um,

1) I think Lin has a shot....1 billion Chinese with internet connections after all...

2) McGrady and Yao were repeatedly elected well after they had no business being on the team. I think one year Yao was elected he hadn't even played yet that season.

i dont disagree with the likelihood of those picks davy... they did eliminate the center position and made it front court/back court. for this year.

math, whos he going to beat out in the guard spot in voting? kobe? paul? westbrook? parker? he is no yao, and tracy lost all the chinese fan votes as soon as yao was gone. heck YI was "the next big thing" in china and he never got voted in. im gonna say the china vote is a bit over rated. according to a couple of articles yi is like 6x more popular then lin (as per their chinese version of twitter followers)...
