Does it annoy you that you are unable to watch a game without being constantly updated with scores of all the other games? I mean they don't even show the scores every 30 minutes which would make more sense. They have a small box on the bottom left of the screen and a ticker at the bottom of the screen showing scores of the same games inside the box on the left side of the screen.

Why does NBATV feel the need for this constant update when anyone can just go to espn.com and the scores come up right away? It's very distracting to see all of that when trying to watch a game.

Anyone agree?

They do it just for the reason you said. They want to keep the viewers. So if ESPN is running constant scores, the NBA will do it themselves to keep the viewers watching NBA Net instead of switching channels to find out current scores.

I think the ticker is enough because that box on the left hand side is distracting with the flashing scores. It has gotten so bad that I had to put some tapes in front of the left side of my TV so I wouldn't be distracted

I agree - the box is overkill.

I don't mind the constant update of score of the other games. I also appreciate that NBATV keeps these scores updates going even during commercials. I do agree that their new 2nd box on the bottom-left side of the screen is overkill.
