No opinion. I generally don't even watch any of it.

Ditto. The dunk contest has pretty much been done. I think the last truly innovative show was Vince Carter in 2000.

I actually like and look forward to the most is the celebrity basketball game because at least it's entertaining.

Nobody cares about the dunk contest anymore. That ship sailed 10+ years ago and it ain't coming back to port anytime soon. I don't even know who the hell is in it, and frankly don't even care.

3 point contest?? Ehh. Not my favorite, but I may watch a couple shooters if nothing else is on.

Skills challenge?? This sounds interesting. I don't remember this from last year.

And the game itself is a joke. Basically 5-5 on the playground with a couple refs and subs.

I slightly disagree. The year that Griffin won was actually decent. I actually think everyone else that dunked better than Griffin though.

I know Brook Lopez was named the replacement player for Rondo in the all-star game but does anyone know who will be the replacement starter for the Eastern All-star team? I don't think they would put Brook Lopez(center) in the starting lineup to replace Rondo(point guard) because of the vastly different positions each of them play.

Looking forward to seeing Novak in the 3 contest.

Dunk contest - I'll watch, but blah. More interested in the 3's, skills, etc.

Looking forward to doing my own 3 point contest with my youngest - we are going to the Jam Fest. They had a one day sale for $7 if you go Thursday night - good enough for me.

Gotta admit that the NBA all-star game is better than the NFL product.

Any all star game is better then the pro bowl, but it doesn't mean its any good.

This year I disagree, it could actually be really good. James White is one of the best dunkers I've ever seen (from a dunk contest perspective) and no one has really heard of him so I could see him comming out of nowhere and putting on some crazy performance (and being on Sportcenter forever like the stupid Blake Griffin dunk). He is 30 though so idk if he still has it. He's done windmills and between the legs from the free throw line. Nobody has ever done that. If there's anyone capable of putting on a show in the dunk contest that could rival Carter it might be this guy. Usually it's a "game time decision" for me when it comes to watching All Star weekend but this year I think I'm gonna watch.
