This season has been so unpredictable that I really didn't spend a lot of time looking at expert picks.

Thus, I picked Michigan State, somewhat out of the blue, to win it all.

I figure if there are no major catastrophes - like losing a final four team on the first weekend - I'll take it and move on.

Good upset pick for me - California

Bad upset picks - St. Mary's, Belmont

Worst loss - Pittsburgh (I had them beating Gonzaga to get to the Sweet 16)

EDIT: Scratch that last line - just lost a final 4 team - New Mexico out. Not counting myself out - but will be making myself scarce.

I had them in the finals. I'll still be good if VCU makes a deep run. 13 out of 16 for the first day. Somehow I don't think I'll do as good today.

12 or 16 on day one.

Did anyone have Harvard winning, wow

So far only lost one sweet 16 team (see above) and none further. Will see what today brings

The Ghengis Gofer looks a little better off than I with AZ advancing, else we seemed to pick similarly through the sweet 16

Finals?? Ouch. I looked at the standings and you can tell who had New Mexico going deep - possible points are real low...

One more bad loss for me, and I begin to hope for total chaos in the bracket world in order to bring everyone else down.

so far, so good, ( DouglasM)---------------tied for 2nd and 217 possible points.

As long as my Final Four teams stay alive, I'll be OK.

Never know when they fall.

I've been filling out brackets since the 1980's.

This one I have the least confidence in given the parity of the field.

I just can't believe nearly all "TV EXPERTS" have Louisville picked.

They are good, but certainly not as dominate as some teams in the past.
