The Heat took 5 games to beat the depleted Bulls and at least 5 to get rid of the Pacers.

I feel the Spurs are playing some really tough ball right now. Could be an awesome finals.

Ah, yes. Good old transitive reasoning.

Basketball is a game of match-ups. You can't make assumptions on how Team A plays Team C based on how Team A plays Team B, and how Team B plays Team C. Far too many dynamics involved to have such a static mentality about how teams match up against each other.

Based on how the Spurs had trouble with Curry in round 2, I think my money is pretty safe on Lebron and Crew in the month of June.

I'm not suggesting that it isn't, simply that (as usual) your logic is flawed as to how you arrive at your conclusions. The 4-2 result of the Spurs series against Golden State has no bearing on any potential series with Miami.

what are you talking about "had problems with curry"? he had 1 great game, ridiculously great game. the rest of the time he was OK, but not great. including his one 44 point game, he averaged 22.5 ppg, thats LOWER then his season average. take that game out and it drops to just over 18 ppg.

now the thing the heat have to worry about is the pacers 1st. they dont want a drawn out 7 game series, even 6 is to long. the heat are the 2nd oldest team in the league, in addition, wades running on a leg and a half right now so every game he plays is more wear on that bad knee. if wade is hobbled then its anyones guess.

i picked the heat to win the whole thing this year, way back in october/november, i think they will likely win vs the spurs BUT im not counting my spurs out, the way they have been playing late, they have been playing better then ANY TEAM. they have faced tougher competition then the heat, and have swept 2 teams, and are currently 12-2 in the tough west. the heat are currently 10-2, in a much easier conference. i would pick any team SA has faced to beat any team the heat have faced this playoffs, hands down.

I think one big factor should Miami playing the Spurs( of course they have to get past Indiana first), is the Spurs championship pedigree, their poise, their execution. Teams like the Bulls and Pacers play Miami tough, but you have to wonder if sometimes the spotlight gets a bit too bright for them as the series goes on. No such thing with this Spurs teams...saying all this to say Miami isn't going to intimidate San Antonio and get them out of their game, Duncan/Parker/Ginobli/Popp have been around the block way too many times for that.

What do you mean they faced tougher competition than the Heat? The Heat is the best team in the NBA so how is that possible?
