looking back, i cant help but wonder if kidd had joined the spurs, what would have happened. he was so close. but then surely parker would not be anything close to what he is today. things could have looked a WHOLE LOT different.

You have to be pleased how things turned out. Could Kidd handle Popovich like Parker has?

you know, obviously i am pleased. i do think kidd could handle pop, but more like tim. pop wouldnt go off on kidd like he did parker, he wouldnt have had the need. and in the end, the years we SHOULD have gone back to the finals (04/06/08) none of the reasons we didnt make it were parker. i can think of a BAD manu foul, and the worst .04 seconds ever, along with a blown call by the refs that should have given barry 3 free throws.

I'm gonna miss Ason Kidd and remember him fondly. One of my alltime favorite guards.
