Celtics want way too much. I've always loved KG's game and had a ton of respect for him, but he's 37 years old and has played a ton of games. He came straight out of high school and had a 6-year stretch where he missed a grand total of 3 regular season games. He has been in the playoffs every year for probably at least a decade. He'll turn 38 during the playoffs next year and he averaged 15 and 8 this year. At this point he's a role player and probably has only 1 or 2 good years left. The likelihood of a major injury is fairly high at his age.

Deandre Jordan is a 24-year old 7 foot 270 lb. athletic freak who rebounds, blocks shots, and finishes hard. He's raw offensively and very foul prone, but there aren't many guys like him in the league.

I'm not sure I would trade Jordan for KG straight up, let alone with a 1st rounder. Jordan and 2 1st rounders is madness.

I really don't think Chris Paul, KG, and Blake Griffin are enough to get past OKC or San Antonio anyway. Or maybe even the Grizzlies.

I mean what he's saying is pretty obvious. How are you going to get away with trading an old guy with a big contract yet asking for a whole lot. And no KG is not a role player, so you mean Tim Duncan is a role player too? lets not get stupid. I doubt KG would ever accept that role unless its clear that he doesn't have it anymore.

Clippers too cheap to make deal with Celtics | Comcast SportsNet - CSNNE.com

Yahoo sports thinks the Clips are being cheap- I think they are being smart-and it looks like Doc might be gone from the Celtics regardless

I'm glad the move didn't happen. It would have been a disaster for both sides.

Nah, it would've benefited the rebuilding Celtics more to have a young budding Center plus two 1st round picks and the cap space. It would've screwed the Clippers, however.
