The world's largest sporting facility IMS. (bigger than any stadium in the country or even the one in China) up to 400K capacity. If a city the size of Indy can support an NBA team like the Pacers so can other cities of similar size or larger.

The Pacers also ranked 25th in the league in attendance, which is embarrassing for a team that made it to the Eastern Conference Finals and nearly took out Lebron and the Heat.

Not as embarrassing as almost losing your team, and then realizing you're keeping a team from a city that deserves it even more. Sacramento is like that kid that was neglecting his dog, then a richer kid comes along and offers a nicer home to the dog, and then the poorer kid contends that he cared about the dog all along. At the end of the day though, Seattle is a world class city, and Sacramento is a city most people can't find on the map. Seattle residents get to wake up everyday waking up there, and you have to wake up being full of vitriol.

Lol, you sound like Lebron after losing to the Mavericks!

You think a city realizing they kept their team from Seattle is embarrassing!! What about the rich kid who lost his dog to a young kid down the street, then tried to buy another one from another young kid who stood up to him and stared him down.......funny.

Sure it does. IRL is hosted around the world like Formula 1 which is based in Indianapolis the racing capital of the world. Nascar is more domestic as IRL is international hosted around the country and the world. The Indy500 hosts all the teams and fans from around the world for the final race. It happens every year.

Here are some foreign flags that make up the IRL.

You can't compare an event that happens only once a year to leagues like the NBA, NFL, etc that last for seasons. It's no comparison. What's next, are we going to start comparing PGA tour events? You have to draw the line somewhere dude.

The league isn't just hosted in Indy with many races that happen around the world. Rather you consider it major is subjective to what your into. However, the world participates in IRL which is major. You can't just cherry pick a few things and not look at the whole picture. There are some people who don't care for NHL or Nascar but it's there.

Ouch. That hurt.

And I don't think anyone from Dallas would ever cheer for the Rockets. If we get Howard, everyone will be super excited. If we don't, everyone will act like we didn't want him anyway I'm just glad that Dallas isn't in this Seattle-Sacramento fiasco.
