Kobe not supporting him when Howard had a shoulder injury was something that can't be overlooked too.

Sure we go together

Pretty sure that was just Chris Broussard making things up as usual. I'm convinced his only "sources" are google and Inside Hoops.

I'll hold my judgement and my tongue for a half a season or more I think, but I will say, I'm not sure how Howard/harden interact, as their games don't mesh IMO.

We will see what the rockets put around them and see how it pans out.
I put them at 3rd in the West right now behind OKC and San Antonio.

Parker and Westbrook can abuse Lin on defense. Perkins and Duncan can guard Howard pretty effectively, pushing him away from the basket. And in the 4th quarter Howard won't be seeing the ball. Leonard and Durant can guard Harden or Parsons very well.

Josh Smith is a bad idea.

They're definitely legit contenders now though.

If Kobe is a better player than Harden then why are the Rockets expected to do so much next season when Howard couldn't help the team with Kobe achieve anything by a 8th seed?

I absolutely love hearing about all of this drama coming out of LA. Its hilarious to hear that Kobe and Dwight could not coexist. I cannot stand Phil Jackson but I admit he was a master of keeping egos in check but the silly Lakers shot themselves in the foot by hiring a mediocre coach that cannot manage egos (double stupidity). Then Kobe, the arrogant fool, tried to challenge Dwight but was dissed by Dwight...ha ha ha! This was a perfect marriage for LA haters like me. I am sad to hear about the divorce. Go Celtics!!!!!!!

Houston has a better team overall, by far. They are young and talented, while the Lakers are broken down and past their prime. They also have the superior head coach. Among other things.
