Apparently the clippers, per doc rivers, will cover the lakers banners and retired jerseys during clipper home games.

Some lakers fans and players are bent out of shape over it. I for one like it and an surprised they have not been doing this for years. Its their home court, they should not have to have another teams success showing in their face like that.

I agree. It makes perfect sense they both use the arena the Clippers should do what they wish.

What I read was the Clippers were going to cover the retired Laker jerseys with existing Clipper players. I've never heard of a team hoisting banners of existing players.

Seems bush league.

This is what happens when 2 NBA teams share the same arena.

Lakers will cry about everything. If you don't like it, get your own arena.

Exactly! You don't see this kind of stuff in cities like Chicago and Philly.

they also dont have limited space to build another arena if they did have 2 teams.

whats the baseball team, the los angeles angels of anehim? or something stupid like that. LA has so many teams in so many sports, and the staples center is home to more than just the lakers and clippers.

But Chicago does have 2 MLB teams and Philly used to have 2 MLB teams and neither city had them share the same arena. That's the big difference.
