What the hell is going on with that team? Carmelo gets his numbers like always, but they were supposed to be a contender. I'm not a fan, but I like to get the perspective of those NYers who are in the know. Bad chemistry, bad coaching, or what? What's the deal?

-Melo, JR, Amare and Artest are all shooting career lows 42%, 33%, 44% and 36% from the field,
You got Felton, Shumpert and Udrih all shooting 39%.

-Last year you had JR and Amare (i know he only played 29 games) averaging 18.1 and 14.2 ppg, this year just 11.7 and 5.0 ppg.

-Tyson Chandler (best center/rebounder/blocker/defender on the team) has been out for a month.

-Steve Novak leaving for Toronto, dude made almost 300 3-pointers on 633 attempts for the Knicks over the last 2 seasons.

-I guess having old guys around like Kidd, Sheed and Camby is more important than we think.

The knicks is doing fine. This is exactly want management wants: an old, broken, boring and bottom of the barrel team. Good job Dolan. Your plan has excused flawlessly

No chemistry. Kinda like building a car with a chevy body, a 14 inch left front wheel, a truck size right front wheel, milk crates for seats, a diesel engine and a honda transmission.

Need to gut the team and start over. Even if they got to the finals, this is not a sustainable, long term team

Knicks don't really have fans*, except for Spike Lee, just a bunch of celebrities who like to get on TV during breaks in the play.

*Just kidding. Kind of.

The Knicks have a great NBA Live team. Unfortunately their front office doesn't know the difference between an NBA Live team and a real one. Putting a bunch of no-defense-playing, low-basketball-IQ-having, isolation-scoring knuckleheads who shoot 40% from the field doesn't win games in real life. Why they don't know this, I have no idea.

It was a poorly made team and not having Chandler makes the team pretty much horrible. I was surprised how well they did last year. Knew it would not last. Will be interesting to see what Melo does. Especially if they don't make the playoffs. Which right now I doubt they will. But who knows the East is a two team conference this year. Lets just get to the ECF already.

Not having Chandler really hurts them. 3-13 but their only 3 games back in the division thanks to the ineptitude of the Atlantic Division, which this season, might take the cake for having the single, worst season for any division in any sport
