The Super Bowl thread showed me we can have some fun talking about sports here. A wide variety of teams are followed by residents of East Idaho. Which teams will you be cheering for this year?

I'm just getting into college ball but I'd say Creighton. Going to school there in August, finally going to try to show a hint of some school pride. Plus McDermott and Wragge are just ridiculous together.

Well, luzianne, not always but it can seem that way. It's nice to have you post here.

Default Area/Regional Teams

What teams in ID or the PNW and Intermountain West do we have who are contenders? How is Gonzaga doing? I remember reading about some players at Gonzaga.

I know better than to mention BSU and Fresno..........

So who are your teams locally or throughout the U.S.?

It's unfortunate that college basketball is nonexistent in Idaho

I guess we can always dream of a BYU-I, BSU, EITC, and CSI final four

Gonzaga is on the bubble. BYU is also on the bubble. There is also Oregon and Colorado. Other than that we are looking at PSW teams from Cali, New Mexico, and Arizona.

Cougars and the Zags look like they will be in come Selection Sunday. You're right on BSU and Fresno, not a chance there.

Also, FYI to the poster above, BYU-Idaho doesn't participate in the NCAA. Maybe back when Ricks was around, but there is only intramural ball up there now.

*Edit, lol just saw the other teams and caught the sarcasm :P

emp1r3,

I believe CO got beaten today by UT and did I see a score about Notre Dame?

FL looked good. What other teams won today?

tmp4,

This is perhaps your funniest post to date. I repped you but didn't get anything written.

This is a gem, for the Gen State
