Yeah I thought that was a little weird because they already have my number to increase security on my account. They added that a few years ago but never for any fantasy games. I thought maybe it was only me because I'm the commissioner. I could not find an answer. I could see that putting people off. Personally, I don't worry about it.
I do, especially since the terms specifically say by accepting that they can send you spam texts. I don't give my number to Facebook either, but at least I can still use the site. They have no business with my number, so I'm out, probably for the football stuff next season too.
