I have never heard of these before and during a heated Wisconsin Badgers vs Marquette Golden Eagles argument in which I stated MU has 1 National Championship 1977 and the badgers have 1 I was told about Helms in which the badgers won Helms and 1 tournament in 1941. The we went on to compare the two programs in which we settled on the they are basically the same programs in terms of success with the edge going to MU. Helms? fictitious!

Does anyone even consider Helms?

I've never heard of anyone actually counting Helms nattys. I mean it's cool if a school gets one and I don't want to discredit those teams, but without winning in the tourney they just aren't comparable. I've heard some of the UNC fans claim they have 6 national championships.

Syracuse fans count 'em as National Championships and will throw them in your face at every opportunity.

Pitt has two and most students have no idea what they are. Never hear 'em mentioned.
