Some may feel that way.

He mentioned black people in reference to not wanting his GF to post pictures with them.

At one point he even said "you think I'm racist" in a shocked and disappointed tone of voice.
Did you hear the whole audio, Yes or No?

If he prefers his GF to not bring people with Hanes underwear to the game that's his business.

Yes I did. Please quote the worst parts so we can discuss them.

honestly, to me, what kobe/lebron/wade say is going to have more of an impact than what Sterling says.

And maybe its just me- but beating or abusing even a single female is much much worse than sterling making a racist comment.
Kids are more or less indirectly impacted by those players actions. I mean every kid isn't going to follow these athletes. The impact that their actions will have on kids is going to vary case by case. I am not suggesting that what he did is worse than the things you mentioned, but I am simply pointing out, monetarily, what he did will have a greater impact than anything those players did. That is why it's going to be viewed differently and receive more attention. And consider that against people within that organization are direct affected by his comments. One kid can like a player like Kobe Bryant while another loves Lebron James. There is no way of really quantifying the comparison because there is no way of knowing how kids feel about these players, but we do know that Sterling's comments affects jobs and people's lives.

Yep. And heck, some athletes have been on trial for murder or rape yet they've been allowed to make a full comeback....to the point of being put on a child's cereal box.

It's almost comical.

I'm still trying to get over the hypocrisy of saying you don't want black pople being brought to your games while you're downing Viagra pills like tic-tacs so you can do your half black girlfriend.

This is Thomas Jefferson telling Sally Hemmings to not bring any of her friends to the big house.

What did he not say, that I stated previously?

Here's a few:

NBA Owner Sterling To Girlfriend: Why Bring Black People To My Games?

Quote:
It bothers me a lot that you want to broadcast that you're associating with black people.
Quote:
"You can sleep with [black people]. You can bring them in, you can do whatever you want. The little I ask you is not to promote it on that ... and not to bring them to my games."
Quote:
"I’m just saying, in your lousy f******* Instagrams, you don’t have to have yourself with, walking with black people."
Further Donald Sterling Audio

Quote:
V: I don't understand, I don't see your views. I wasn't raised the way you were raised.
DS: Well then, if you don't feel—don't come to my games. Don't bring black people, and don't come.
V: Do you know that you have a whole team that's black, that plays for you?
DS: You just, do I know? I support them and give them food, and clothes, and cars, and houses. Who gives it to them? Does someone else give it to them? Do I know that I have—Who makes the game? Do I make the game, or do they make the game? Is there 30 owners, that created the league?
Quote:
DS: It's the world! You go to Israel, the blacks are just treated like dogs.
V: So do you have to treat them like that too?
DS: The white Jews, there's white Jews and black Jews, do you understand?
V: And are the black Jews less than the white Jews?
DS: A hundred percent, fifty, a hundred percent.
V: And is that right?
DS: It isn't a question—we don't evaluate what's right and wrong, we live in a society. We live in a culture. We have to live within that culture.

I am curious what you believe has been altered?

EXACTLY!!!! I didn't even bring that angle up, but that is even worse. Apparently certainly people do not see the hypocrisy this man is exhibiting. I say this, if you dislike hypocrisy, this man has shown plenty of it, don't defend him.

Being on trial and being guilty is two different things. How many of those athletes were found guilty of murder or rape and made a comeback?
