Assuming it ends up being Heat vs OKC again in the finals this year and OKC wins, is Durant officially better than LeBron?

He would have people hyping him as better than Lebron, but he'll have a ways to go before he could pass him. If anyone is in line to get the torch it's KD though. It's possible he could pass Lebron by the time he's 28...that's this year plus 3 more seasons. He has A LOT of work to do.

Not in a team game it doesn't.

I hope you aren't getting hung up on MVP = best player in the league because that's not what the award is based on. (Not being disrespectful to Durant, he's a great player)

If it happens, Lebron would still have more accomplishments in the post-season and career wise. These type of questions are usually settled after careers have ended, or at least near the end. Both of these guys have 5-10 years left in the league at least.

They are both mentally fragile with significant weaknesses in their overall games

No.

Barring injury, LeBron will be the best for another 5 years.

Nothing else needs to be said. Especially for Lebron. Last two years has not been enough for you?

Lebron pretty much owes Ray Allen one of his rings. Lebron couldn't bail them out of that game with all his might. Ray Ray did it with one shot.
