Impossible to answer given his recovery from injury.

It might be way off one way or another.

Regardless, it's moot. The Lakers are paying him big bucks for 2 years to help take their fans minds off what will be a horrifically long rebuild.

Hey, where did all the Laker fanboys go that called me a hater for clinically describing how they were going to rebuild?

Oh, that's right...they are out buying Cleveland jerseys. LMAO.

Thought about it being about age but think its more about injury and im Actually surprised D. Rose is going to be rated higher.

He scored 27 a game during the 12-13 season.

I'd have to compare him to those ahead of him. One that screams out is D. Rose.

Well, here is the rough timeline

27 ppg season
bad injury
6 games back @ 14ppg
bad injury

and is now 36 years old.

Now some people might choose to look at the beginning of the timeline with 34yo Kobe......but anybody that has seriously followed the NBA for 20+ years isn't going to think that a 36yo with more mileage on him than the space shuttle is going to come storming back from that.

I'm personally wondering if he can stay healthy enough to catch Jordan who is a mere 500pts ahead of him. I still think he will but I thought he'd come back and do it last year.

I'd hate to see him hanging around as a shadow of his former self just to creep up some meaningless acheivement list....but the Lakers are paying him to potentially do that. So, I'm hoping he comes out and does well so he can go out somewhat on top.

Since you want to stir the potas usual and turn this into some backhand at the Bulls....

It's funny to see Varejao and Waiters ranked by ESPN more like how we see them without the rose colored glasses.

Butler and Gibson ranked in the 70's.....apparantly they value defense.

Rounding out the Bulls, Rose will be ranked soon, probably 35ish due to questions about injuries. Noah should be top 20. I figure he will be a little bit behind Love which is reasonable.

Don't worry, you can complain the rankings are unfair for now and then agree with them when they put Lebron, Love, KI....1/15/30ish

Try again...More 1/11/22. It wouldn't shock me if all three were ahead of Rose and Noah.

For the record AV is overrated, and Dion is you guessed it underrated.

Behind Love is reasonable, not a little bit.
