The level of play in the SW division has been way above all other divisions as a whole - yet, there is very little attention given this fact.
I'm hoping the SA/NO game is a national telecast. NO leads the season series 2-1. Obviously the Spurs are playing well right now.
i hope the pels take those 2 wins serious too. the 1st was november 8th by 1 point on an evans block of leonard, the 2nd was dec 26, spurs on 2nd of b2b, had no tp or leonard. the spurs win was dec 31, no tp or leonard in OT.
these are really 2 totally different teams than november/december.
its going to be a fun night tomorrow.
the SW has long been the best division, i think people dont give it much run because its a bunch of small market teams, mark cuban, and the fair weather rockets fans.
on a side note, saw morey yesterday, didnt realize dudes like 6-6 or more. im 6' and he was towering over me.
Great games coming up for the Western Conference Tonight and Tomorrow.
One minor story line in the East, Indiana is trying to hang onto to the 8th seed, but they will have to face the team they eliminated from the playoffs last year looking for revenge, the Washington Wizards. That's going to be on TNT tonight. From seeing the quotes from Wall and Beal, the Wizards want to put Indiana out of playoff contention, so they may play their starters for this one. Should be an interesting game.
I'm still bitter about Westbrook's technical foul being rescinded. Now all the Thunder have to do is beat the Timberwolves while the Pelicans still have to beat the league's hottest teams. And San Antonio, obviously, still has something to play for: homecourt advantage for the first two rounds.
Spurs vs NO tomorrow night is as an intriguing a game as any. Spurs win and they stay the 2, the Pelicans likely miss the playoffs. Spurs lose and they could easily fall back to the 6 seed while the Pelicans are in.
Wednesday is gonna be fun, pure trap game for the Spurs.
Which means a win or loss will still have them playing the warriors in the WCF instead of the second round is good news to me.

Yeah, I kind of want NOLA to make it just because I think it would be cool to see the Anthony Davis Pelicans finally make it. But no way in hell do I want it at the expence of Spurs losing the 2nd spot.

Well that means you have to root for whatever team is playing OKC tomorrow night so you can see your spurs win and Anthony Davis make the playoffs.
