I hope you are right. The Hawks seem to have lost their edge recently, which was almost bound to happen when you've got 1st place sewed up way ahead of time.

Not possible now since Bosh won't be on the squad once the playoffs start in April.

This has to be the worst year in NBA history imo as far as viable MVP-calibre talent; the league is really devoid of the legitimate superstar talent and depth the league just saw during the first decade of this millenium. With that being said, I believe James Harden deserves the MVP, however Curry will most likely win it due to San Fran-GS finishing 1st in the Conference. Harden may get the last laugh though if his former squad finishes 8th and is healthy come 30 days from now, as Curry might just end up joining the elite company of Moses Malone and Dirk Nowitzki. GS needs to PRAY they don't face Durant & Co. they won't get past the 1st round if they do

Im looking at the Warriors play right now and they just don't look like a championship team due to their style. Just running up and down the court launching three pointers and tossing lob passes for dunks. I just don't think a style like this wins it all but we will see in May.

Yeah, the Grizzlies really looked like the team to beat a few weeks ago, but have looked a little anemic for the last month or so. On paper, they still look really strong, though I think the Clippers have a very good shot as well.

Agreed. I've paid attention to the NBA for about 30 years and can't think of a team that won a championship with that style of play. The last 'run n' gun' team to make the Finals was Suns in 1993, who lost to the Bulls.

Yeah, holding the 3rd best FG shooting team in the league to 76 pts and one bucket in the 3rd qtr is not a winning style.

Fast break points for the game: GS 15, Wiz 14
Points in the paint: GS 30, Wiz 34

Who's running and gunning?

LOL, same thread at ISH....I'm tired of hearing how GSW won't get past the 1st round....not a fair weather fan, just someone who lived next door to this guy named Jeff Mullins, who introduced our family to the Warriors a long time ago.....bet a lot of warrior fans don't even know who he is...lol

Here's how I look at it...I've played organized sports for 1/2 my life, when I stopped, I stopped watching games on TV. Why? Because I had too many friends, who couldn't enjoy sports for it's entertainment value. They would yell at the TV whenever their team F'd up. It's a joke, same as the guys on ISH, where they argue over things they have zero influence on. I see their blood pressure go sky high when someone says "Harden plays ugly basketball"...I mean really/? Enjoy the Warriors for what they are...A great team playing beautiful basketball. The arguing is lame, unless you are on that court, there is no real reason to get so bent out of shape over it.

Facts: They are going to have to win the chip to be considered great, claiming they are is way too premature.
Facts: Anything can happen in the playoffs.....we have two things that will be different when they meet SAS in the WCF. The Spurs will be 2 years older, and the Warriors will have two more years experience playing together, with a better offense, and improved defense......

I expect them to get pass the first round and not sure why anyone would say something so silly. I am saying I don't see them winning it ALL but definitely getting pass the first round.

Well, you were "leaning" towards Memphis in an earlier post and , as it stands right now, they are on a collision course with the Spurs in the second round so you better pick your bandwagon soon!
