For the Memphis/GS game tonight, I predict the usual. Memphis will start off strongly, scoring some buckets on pure adrenaline, maybe go up by 8 points at most in first quarter to the cheers of the roaring crowd. Then on cue, Curry, 3, Klay, 3, Curry, 3, 3, 3, drive, 3! Then the Grizzlies immediately hang it up mentally and give up, as GS runs up the score 20 points ahead by the half.

Memphis, gone fishin!

Another good analysis of the Clippers debacle:

I've been seeing this for awhile but they proved me wrong on the SA series. The Clippers' lack of depth will be their undoing, especially with an ineffective Crawford.

FYI

If GSW closes out Mem, LAC/Hou will start 2:30 CT.

If Mem wins... Mem/GSW at 2:30 CT on Sunday, LAC/Hou at 7:00 CT.

----------------------------------

One more Rockets stat.

The last 7:38 - not including Paul's buzzer beater three pointer - Rockets outscored Clips 31-4.

Game went from 100-88 Clips... to 119-104 Rockets.

Watched it live; it was surreal. Especially seeing Josh Smith basically run the point and scoring with ease.

I believe the Clippers missed 15 or 16 straight shots in that period, too.

The Rondo issue messed them up, but otherwise I'll take the Mavs....even the Pelicans or OKC have a chance.

Yeah, the Mavs may have even had a chance this postseason - but they would have had to rely on outscoring the Hawks for four games. Rondo ruined everything.
