Paul has nice numbers, but Stockton is leaps and bounds better, I'd put Paul over Nash individually, but take Jason Kidd over them both.
Chris Paul's is dirty, always has been, I can't stand him. I respect his numbers, but he's not a winner. Some guys are just "winners". Some guys are just winners, he puts up numbers but he can't win a series. The clippers and hornets before were also not built to win. The clippers are built to put up highlights but not win.
You needed to post this when the Clippers were ahead 3-1 in the series, its not as valuable now.
Also, you just compared CP3 to Stockton, Nash and Kidd and do you know what that means? He's great, you yourself just put him in that class by your comparisons.
As far as him being dirty? I don't know what means, maybe you can clarify specific examples of what you're talking about because i can't even make a guess as to what this means.
The Clippers have a weak bench, nobody said a word about CP3 when he was playing on an injured leg hitting last second shots vs an all time great team and defending champion spurs, how soon we forget.
Had the NBA not rejected his trade to the Lakers, would we be telling a different story? Or would he join the list of players who thought they could solve all their problems by joining the fabulous Los Angeles Lakers - like Steve Nash, Dwight Howard, Carlos Boozer, and I hope Rajon Rondo.
Chris Paul is a good player. But to reiterate several people, he doesn't win. And I agree, he's dirty, I hate him personally. Jason Kidd and Steve Nash are light years ahead of Paul. And how could anyone compare Chris Paul to John Stockton, the NBA's all time leading assist man!? And he leads that race by nearly 4,000 assists!!
You sound like you don't really follow the NBA and yet here you are, posting in an NBA thread.
You just said "how can anyone compare Paul to Stockton" and yet a sentence earlier, you said Paul "doesn't win".
I guess Stockton wins? Ok.
As far as the dirty goes, i agree, his last second shot vs the Spurs on one leg was dirty. Filthy actually.

the clippers were up 3-1 with him missing 2 games and limited to 23 minutes in game 3. once he started playing significant minutes the clippers lost. hmmmmmmmm
i didnt put him in that company, the OP did i only spoke to why he isnt in their class.

You made good points until you acted like you don't know what anyone is talking about with him being dirty. Yeah, he's dirty. He punches dudes (not 1, but multiple) in the nuts. Did you miss him in college too?
I'd love to have him on my team, though. He's a fantastic passer, a better-than-average shooter, and has a lot of drive. I gather he's not the smartest floor general out there, but not for a lack of want.
But c'mon, dude is dirty. I'm glad he is. But stop. lol

I haven't seen it to be honest. And one man's dirty might be another man's playing hard. Seems like jealousy, maybe one day you can get a CP3 for team, but until then, stop acting like he's dirty because he doesn't play for your favorite team.

So, you haven't seen it but you're telling us... what? and why?
So, basically, you don't know much and are unwilling to use google as a search engine to find out why basketball fans think he's a dirty player.
Yeah, okay.
