Well, another championship has been handed out, congrats to the Warriors. The first title for every one of those players (none had even played in a Finals before this run). So how about all the other guys who don't have a title on their resume? Out of these elite players, who is MOST likely to win a championship before their career ends, and who is LEAST likely:
Kevin Durant
Russell Westbrook
Chris Paul
Blake Griffin
Carmelo Anthony
Anthony Davis
James Harden
Lamarcus Aldridge
All of these guys are great players, but time is running out for a few of them. Could the Lebron Cavs and Warriors teams of the next few years prevent these guys from ever winning one?
I'll go with Durant for my most likely because he still has next summer to choose where he wants to go. Plus his OKC team can still win it next year if healthy.
Carmelo is my least likely, can't see a scenario where he's on a good enough team in the next 5 years.
I would agree with Carmelo Anthony as least likely. For most likely, I might go with either Aldridge or Anthony Davis, Davis mainly because he has so much of his career ahead of him. If Durant stays healthy, he would be a good choice as well.
I doubt the Knicks are winning anything next year and in 2017 Carmelo will be about 32 years old. I think he's done as being the #1 option on a winner.
"If Durant stays healthy" is the real key. His health is starting to be a question mark every year.
Anthony Davis has the most time in front of him, but if he stays with the Pelicans then I don't see a title happening. That team is going to be perpetually stuck in the # 7, 8 seed or just missing the playoffs range.

Dude needs to fix his teeth and pluck those eyebrows.
